Objectives
To promote awareness about fatty liver and its health risks among PUPQC Participants.
To inform participants of how one’s lifestyle can contribute to develop this liver disease.
To mitigate the disease burden and progression among webinar participants who are already diagnosed with a fatty liver.
Activity/Event Narrative
This program partnered with PUPQC Medical Services Department focused on promoting awareness about fatty Liver disease. This also aimed to inform the participants on how one’s lifestyle can contribute to developing this liver disease, as well as the mitigation and prevention of this disease.
This medical health webinar was held on April 25, 2022 via Zoom Meeting and Facebook live. The moderator commenced the celebration by playing an audio visual presentation of Invoaction and National Anthem. The resource speaker, Dr. Erwin Sarapuddin, a gastroenterologist from Fatima University Medical Center and San Mateo Medical center discussed about the Metabolic Associated fatty Liver Disease. The resource speaker answered a pool of questions from the participants and the Certificate of recognition is awarded. Photo op with the participants and resource speaker was taken by the technical team and the free medical webinar was successfully concluded with the singing of the PUP Hymn.
