A LOVE DISCUSSION AND NIGHT CONFESSIONS

Objectives

• To foster respect and good rapport among PUP Quezon City students and alumni.

• To create a platform for the local celebration of Valentine’s Day.

• To uphold Pillar 4 of PUP reform agenda, Holistic Student Development, and Engagement, particularly under the information dissemination.

Activity/Event Narrative

This is a partnered program with Community of Human Resource Students which aims to educate the student body regarding the different love languages and create a venue for the love confessions and open love messages of the students. The event was broadcast live on Facebook and the Zoom Platform on February 14, 2022.

The moderators, Mr. Jerome Chester Gay and Ms. Shiena Mae Joan Francia started the event by playing love songs and welcoming the viewers in both zoom and facebook live. Inst. Melanie Bactasa discussed the topic entitled, "Expressing Heartfelt Commitment Through the Five Love Languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman’s Principles for a short love talk. Before proceeding to the next part of the event, moderators shared their insights from the love talk discussed by the speaker. For the last part of the event, moderators read confessions, and love stories from the students of the PUPQC and gave some advice.
